The Care You Deserve delivered with the Exerience that You Want
The Happy Room is set up for 1-3 year olds and made so that they feel like they are in a game room, not in a medical office. It allows young children to become very relaxed to make the exam and cleaning easy and fast, When children go back to playing, it allows the Purple Tooth team to review dental hygiene and ways to help prevent cavities.
We will send you a message with a link which you can use to fill out our new patient forms before your appointment. If not completed before your appointment we ask that you arrive early by at least 30 minutes the day of your appointment to fill out the forms here.
This form is needed for us to share patient records with your other health care providers.
We have made it easy for you to download the Records Release Form. Please print out, sign, and bring this with you to your next appointment.
It can be easy to forget when you scheduled a dental appointment but now we’re able to remind you with an Appointment Reminder via phone call, text message and/or email.
Before starting treatment, the Purple Tooth Dental Team will discuss with you the treatment cost and available payment plan options, so that you can choose the best option and take any stress off the treatment expense.
That’s our promise, so you can have the peace of mind knowing you won’t be hit with any surprises.
If you do not have insurance or aditional assistance is needed we offer additional payment options including an in house Dental Membership Plan as well as services such as CareCredit.
We will file most major insurance plans with the exception of TRICARE and BCBS FEDERAL PLAN.What to Expect
Have additional questions? We’ve got the answers. Email us or give us a call.
During the initial appointment, we’ll perform a thorough oral exam, take x-rays, and check for issues such as tooth decay, gum disease, and other problems that can affect not only your mouth but your overall health as well. Lastly, we’ll discuss personalized treatment options that can help you achieve and maintain good health!
Depending on a patient’s oral health, the average dental cleaning procedure can take anywhere from 30 to 90 minutes. During your visit you can expect our team to take x-rays, thoroughly evaluate your gums and overall oral health. Once your overall oral health is evaluated this will provide us the necessary information to determine if we are able to proceed with a cleaning or if you will need to return for a more in depth deep cleaning. Once your hygienist has finished, the doctor will come in to complete a comprehensive examination (including an oral cancer screening). If any treatment is necessary your doctor and hygienist will create a treatment plan that details the procedures they are recommending for your next visit.
While many believe that at-home oral hygiene alone is sufficient in maintaining good oral health, regular dental cleaning appointments are crucial in order to maintain good oral health.
Without these, the teeth and gums are susceptible to infection and decay. This can be detrimental to your oral and overall health.
We recommend you make a dentist appointment at least every 6 months to ensure optimal oral health. Patients who are more susceptible to gum disease and/or cavities should consider more frequent visits.
